I love it when it is time for KCW- Kids Clothes Week, and I can stock up on clothes for the kids for the upcoming season. This time around the theme is WILD – so cool and versatile. First child up is Bella. I used my Upcraftclub fee to get the Persimmon Dress pattern from Willow + Co. The fabric is some essex linen and the blue double gauze is from my favorite Imagine gnats shop. First I made a elephant stencil with speedball eraser blocks and then used Speedball screen print ink for fabric to stamp the elephants on the essex linen.
this is a horrible picture(it was done last night so the lighting is very bad) but you get the idea….
The linen and double gauze is a perfect match and Isabella is in heaven.
We were fortunate to be able to get some pictures in the backyard inbetween rain very suiting to the WILD theme.
Go Visit the KCW Blog for some inspiring outfits posted by others that are sewing along …….
Till tomorrow……..
Wow! What a fabulous dress! I love that you printed the fabric yourself. The elephant is just awesome!
